On the reaction day the stock moved 1.5 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.0 pts more than its Power Generation peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

JSW Energy's wholly owned subsidiary JSW Neo Energy will buy 100% of Tidong Power Generation for cash at an enterprise value of INR 1,728 crore. Tidong is building a 150 MW run-of-river hydro plant in Himachal Pradesh, targeted for commissioning in October 2026. Completion is expected by January 15, 2026, subject to regulatory and lender approvals. The deal lifts JSW Energy's locked-in generation capacity to 30.5 GW.
Adds 150 MW of hydro capacity and supports JSW Energy's renewable growth target, but completion and commissioning remain subject to execution risk.
