On the reaction day the stock moved 2.7 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 3.0 pts more than its Port & Port services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

On 15 September 2025, wholly owned subsidiary JSW Kolkata Container Private Limited signed a 30-year concession agreement with Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, Kolkata. The project covers reconstruction of Berth 8 and mechanization of Berths 7 and 8 at Netaji Subhash Dock through a design, build, finance, operate and transfer public-private partnership model.
Adds a long-term port infrastructure concession, but project costs and financial terms were not disclosed, so the near-term earnings impact remains unclear.
