JSW Infrastructure has received a Letter of Award from Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority for developing the Outer Container Terminal and Berths 1 through 5 at Netaji Subhash Dock, Kolkata, on DBFOT basis through PPP. The 30-year concession will add 0.93 million TEUs (13 MTPA) capacity. Combined with its ongoing Berth 7 and 8 project, total container capacity at Kolkata Dock System will reach about 1.4 million TEUs. This is the company second win at SMPA in a year, reinforcing its east coast footprint.
Major capacity expansion strengthens east coast port presence. Contract value not disclosed. Long-tenure concession adds revenue visibility.
