JTEKT India plans to add about 0.8 million units of CVJ capacity at Jalisana, Gujarat by August 2028. Its current capacity is about 1.2 million units, with utilization near 90%. Project cost and final Board approval are pending, while financing will combine company funds and borrowings.
The expansion could support growth from strong vehicle-maker demand, but may raise borrowing and execution costs; returns are not yet known.
