On the reaction day the stock moved 3.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.7 pts more than its Sugar peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
KM Sugar Mills' Distillery Division has been demerged into KM Spirits and Allied Industries Limited via a Scheme of Arrangement effective October 12, 2026. KM Spirits allotted 1.84 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each to eligible shareholders (record date Oct 2, 2026). KM Sugar Mills no longer holds any stake, and KM Spirits will apply for separate listing.
Spinoff creates a separately listed distillery entity; KM Sugar shareholders get KM Spirits shares too, expanding their holdings.
