Kansai Nerolac Paints has announced a leadership change effective April 1, 2025. Mr. Anuj Jain, the Managing Director, has taken early retirement and stepped down from the Board from March 31, 2025. Mr. Pravin D. Chaudhari has been appointed as the new Managing Director for a three-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The revised Board now comprises seven directors, including three Independent Directors and a mix of Non-Executive and Executive Directors. The Key Managerial Personnel team remains stable with Mr. P. D. Pai continuing as CFO and Mr. G. T. Govindarajan as Company Secretary.
This is a planned, orderly succession announced in advance, which should reassure investors about continuity. However, the early retirement of the MD may raise some short-term uncertainty until the new MD settles in and shareholders approve the appointment.
