On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.5 pts less than its Paints peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Kansai Nerolac Paints has received NCLT Mumbai Bench approval to merge its wholly owned subsidiary Nerofix Private Limited into itself. Nerofix deals in adhesives, sealants, chemicals and coatings. Since Nerolac owns 100 percent of Nerofix, no new shares will be issued and subsidiary shares will be cancelled. Appointed date is 1 April 2025. Scheme becomes effective upon filing with the Registrar of Companies. The merger targets synergy, economies of scale and operational efficiency.
Internal merger of wholly owned subsidiary. No new shares issued, so no dilution or open offer. Simplifies group structure and may improve efficiency.
