Karnataka Bank reported annual standalone net profit of ₹1,310.50 crore for FY26, up 3% from ₹1,272.37 crore in FY25. Total income remained flat at ₹10,320.72 crore versus ₹10,283.12 crore. The bank achieved significant improvement in asset quality with Gross NPA reducing to 2.78% from 3.08% and Net NPA to 0.98% from 1.31%. Capital adequacy ratio strengthened to 20.07% while EPS grew to ₹34.66 from ₹33.69. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹5 per share (50% of face value). The joint statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements.
The bank delivered steady profit growth with meaningful NPA improvement and strengthened capital position. The clean audit opinion removes key investor concerns. The modest revenue growth reflects challenging operating conditions in the banking sector.
