Karnataka Bank reported record annual net profit of Rs 1,310.50 crore for FY 2025-26, up 3% YoY from Rs 1,272.37 crore. Q4 FY26 net profit was Rs 408.19 crore, a strong 40% QoQ improvement. The bank achieved an all-time high aggregate business of Rs 1,92,118.67 crore with deposits at Rs 1,08,778.75 crore and gross advances at Rs 83,339.92 crore. Asset quality improved significantly with GNPA declining 54 bps to 2.78% and NNPA declining 33 bps to 0.98%. Net Interest Margins improved 15 bps QoQ to 3.07%, while ROA and ROE improved to 1.27% and 12.69% respectively. The board proposed a 50% dividend.
Strong quarterly and annual performance with improved profitability, asset quality, and margins. The 40% QoQ profit jump and all-time high business levels are positive signals for shareholders ahead of the AGM.
