Karnataka Bank reported record annual net profit of Rs. 1,310.50 crore for FY2025-26, up 3% YoY from Rs. 1,272.37 crore. Q4 net profit jumped 40% QoQ to Rs. 408.19 crore. Total business crossed Rs. 1.92 lakh crore. Deposits grew 3.79% to Rs. 1,08,778.75 crore while gross advances rose 6.90% to Rs. 83,339.92 crore. Asset quality improved significantly with GNPA declining 54 bps to 2.78% and NNPA falling 33 bps to 0.98%. The board proposed a 50% dividend. Net Interest Income declined 5.79% YoY though NIMs improved 15 bps QoQ to 3.07% in Q4.
Strong Q4 showing with improved asset quality and profitability ratios (ROE at 12.69%) is positive for shareholders. The all-time high annual profit and dividend proposal signal financial strength, though the modest 3% PAT growth for the full year is subdued.
