Kaynes Technology has reshuffled its top leadership. Mr. Ramesh Kunhikannan, the promoter and current Managing Director, has been re-designated as Executive Vice Chairman (Whole Time Director) for the remaining period until March 31, 2029. In his place, Dr. Muthukumar Narayanaswamy has been appointed as the new Managing Director for a 5-year term starting September 24, 2025, subject to shareholder approval. Dr. Muthukumar brings 37 years of experience in manufacturing and operations, with prior leadership roles at Cummins Meritor, TVS Srichakra, and Sundaram Rubber. He is not related to any existing directors on the board.
This is a planned succession move where the founder/promoter steps into a strategic oversight role while bringing in an experienced external operations leader to run day-to-day management.
