KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs. 1,050 crores across its business verticals. The Renewables business won a breakthrough 100+ MW Wind Project (Balance of Plant) in Southern India from a private developer, marking the company's maiden entry into the Wind Energy segment. The Civil business bagged a Buildings & Factories order from an existing steel-sector client in Western India, while the T&D business secured tower, hardware and pole supply orders in the Americas (including Mexico via subsidiary SAE Towers). Cables & Conductors also received orders in India and overseas. Year-to-date order intake now stands at approximately Rs 19,300 crores, and management says it reaffirms confidence in achieving growth targets.
Positive for shareholders — the order win diversifies revenue into Wind Energy, strengthens the international T&D pipeline, and the strong YTD intake of ~Rs 19,300 crores supports revenue visibility. The stock may see short-term positive sentiment, though the orders will be recognized as revenue over the execution period.
