KEC International has won new orders worth Rs. 1,476 crores in its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business. Key wins include its largest composite T&D order in Saudi Arabia (380 kV transmission lines, substations and EHV cabling), 132 kV transmission lines in Africa, and supply of towers, hardware and poles in India and the Americas. Management highlighted that the Saudi win, secured despite current geopolitical tensions, signals continued investment in the Middle East T&D market, while the Africa order points to a gradual recovery in that region. With these orders, KEC's year-to-date order intake has reached approximately Rs. 22,800 crore.
This is a positive development for shareholders, reinforcing KEC's strong international order book and diversification across geographies. The Rs. 1,476 crore addition represents a meaningful chunk of annual revenue and supports earnings visibility over the coming quarters.
