Key Corp posted a Q2 FY27 standalone loss of Rs 122.42 lakh against a Q1 profit of Rs 924.40 lakh. Total revenue from operations fell to Rs 10.62 lakh from Rs 945.84 lakh in Q1, as gains from fair value changes on investments (around Rs 805.70 lakh for H1) drove the bulk of income. Half year PAT rose to Rs 801.98 lakh from Rs 532.19 lakh, a jump of about 51%. EPS for H1 was Rs 13.37 (excluding OCI). Net worth stood at Rs 7357.19 lakh. Operating cash flow remained negative at minus Rs 21.44 lakh. The limited review report by V.P. Aditya and Company is unmodified.
H1 profit jump is mostly from mark-to-market gains on investments, not core operations. Q2 swung to loss; investors should watch if gains sustain and whether core cash flows improve.
