Kinetic Engineering's board, at its meeting on 3 Feb 2026, approved Q3 FY26 (ended 31 Dec 2025) standalone and consolidated financial results and announced a change in Key Managerial Personnel. Mr. Rajpal Sharma resigned as Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Rajesh Dhongade was appointed as the new COO effective 4 Feb 2026. Mr. Dhongade is a mechanical engineer with 24 years of experience in auto component firms including Bharat Forge, Mahindra CIE, Kalyani Technoforge, Hindustan Motors and Autoline Industries. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs 3,585 lakhs in Q3 FY26 from Rs 2,890 lakhs a year ago, while profit before tax fell to Rs 53 lakhs from Rs 327 lakhs (last year's base was boosted by a Rs 698 lakh one-time gain from selling non-core assets). For 9M FY26, standalone revenue grew to Rs 11,050 lakhs but PBT dropped to Rs 180 lakhs from Rs 591 lakhs.
The COO-level management change at this scale (24-year auto component veteran replacing the outgoing COO) is a notable leadership shuffle and may influence operational direction, though the lower profits largely reflect the absence of last year's one-time asset sale gains. Investors should watch for execution updates from the new COO and clarity on the Rs 9 crore investment into subsidiary Kinetic Watts & Volts.
