Kiran Vyapar Limited reported audited standalone PAT of Rs 1,123.20 lakhs for FY26 vs Rs 3,551.95 lakhs in FY25, a decline of about 68%. Consolidated PAT dropped sharply to Rs 54.68 lakhs from Rs 6,615.12 lakhs in FY25, a decline of over 99%. Standalone total income fell to Rs 6,302.53 lakhs from Rs 7,320.86 lakhs, while consolidated income declined to Rs 10,690.82 lakhs from Rs 11,869.62 lakhs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs 1 per share (10%). An unmodified (clean) audit opinion was issued with no qualifications. Note 7 discloses the merger of associate Placid Limited with Maharaja Shree Umaid Mills Limited effective April 1, 2024, requiring restatement of prior year figures.
The company witnessed a severe contraction in profitability with consolidated PAT declining nearly 99%, driven largely by fair value changes and share of loss from associates. Despite healthy operating segments, investors may be concerned about the massive earnings decline despite the clean audit opinion.
