Incorporates subsidiary with IUAD Italy to set up international design institution

Kothari Industrial has incorporated a new subsidiary, Kothari Industrial IUAD Design Pvt Ltd, with Italy's IUAD (Istituto Universitario di Architettura e Design) to set up an international design institution at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. It will offer about 30 percent classroom and 70 percent industry-integrated practical learning in product, footwear, leather goods, fashion, and furniture design. Students will get international exchange and postgraduate pathways in Italy. Centres of Excellence in AI, sustainable design, and advanced manufacturing are planned. Statutory and regulatory approvals are still being completed.
