KP Green Engineering, along with group entities KPI Green Energy and KP Energy, has signed a framework agreement with Senvion India to jointly develop up to 2 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects across multiple Indian states over the next three years. Senvion India, a leading wind turbine manufacturer backed by Dubai-based GREDHCL (Alfanar Group's investment arm), will supply the wind turbine generators. KP Group will lead on site identification, land acquisition, permits, and Balance of Plant execution including civil works, foundations, electrical systems, and grid evacuation. Senvion India has been operating in India since 2016 and employs over 1,200 people across its value chain.
Positive for shareholders — the 2 GW framework represents a significant multi-year revenue pipeline for KP Green Engineering's BoP and engineering services, though it is a framework agreement rather than confirmed orders. The partnership with a global turbine OEM strengthens the company's positioning in India's growing renewable energy sector and could support order book growth over the next three years.
