KPI Green Energy, along with KP Group entities, signed an MoU with Botswana's Ministry of Minerals and Energy to develop around 5 GW of renewable energy capacity. The projects involve an estimated $4 billion (Rs 36,000 crore) investment in solar, wind, storage, and transmission infrastructure. KP Group will handle feasibility, design, financing, construction, and operations. The MoU supports Botswana's net-zero 2030 goal and marks KP Group's international expansion beyond India.
Significant long-term revenue pipeline potential; positive for international growth story, though execution and conversion risks remain at this early MoU stage.
