Krishna Defence signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Netherlands-based VABO Composites, upgrading a July 2024 MoU into a binding deal. The new Indian JV will design and make advanced composite ship doors, hatches and related products for defence and maritime use. Krishna Defence will hold 51% and VABO 49%, with initial paid-up capital of Rs 1 lakh and a two-director board. Deal aims to grow market across India and ASEAN using VABO's tech.
Positive - international JV strengthens defence composite offerings and ASEAN reach. Low initial capital keeps downside risk limited for shareholders.
