KIMS board has approved investing up to Rs 100 Crore more in its material subsidiary Sarvejana Healthcare (Sunshine Hospital) in one or more tranches. KIMS currently holds 75.53 percent stake and will buy more shares from minority shareholders at value set by an independent valuer. Sunshine Hospital reported turnover of Rs 597 Cr in FY25 versus Rs 464.2 Cr in FY24. The all-cash deal aims to increase KIMS' strategic shareholding in the Hyderabad-based hospital.
Slightly positive for KIMS shareholders as it boosts control over a fast-growing subsidiary, turnover up nearly 29 percent year on year, funded by cash.
