Indo Borax and Chemicals, along with Zenrock Chemicals, has acquired 64.26 percent stake (2.38 crore shares) in Kronox Lab Sciences from the existing promoter group, triggering a full board overhaul. Suresh Kalra appointed as new MD and CEO, with new CFO Shashikant Bharuka and three independent directors joining. Outgoing promoters resigned and entered 36-month consultancy pacts worth Rs 2.1 crore each. Sellers now hold 9.95 percent and have exited the promoter group.
Major change of control. New management with deep chemicals industry experience takes charge. Transition support locked in via consultancy deals.
