Kross Limited has commissioned a new Axle Beam Extrusion Plant on 27th February 2026, marking a first-of-its-kind technology in India. The new plant will add 8,000 units/month of axle beam capacity, increasing total capacity from 5,000 to 13,000 units/month (a 60% jump). The company invested Rs 25 crore in this expansion, funded through its public issue proceeds. Existing capacity utilization is already at 80%, and the full additional capacity is expected by April 2026. The new extrusion technology produces axle beams as a single piece, replacing the traditional four-piece welded design, offering better strength, stiffness, reliability, and reduced weight for heavy commercial vehicles.
