Kross Limited has commissioned a new Axle Beam Extrusion Plant on 27th February 2026, which it claims is the first such facility in India producing seamless, single-piece axle beams for heavy commercial vehicles. The plant adds 3,000 units per month, raising total axle beam capacity by 60% from 5,000 to 8,000 units per month. The new seamless extrusion technology replaces traditional welded fabrication, offering better strength, lower weight, and improved reliability. Commercial production is expected to begin from April 2026, with benefits flowing in from FY27. The expansion targets growing demand from medium & heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCVs), tractors, and off-highway vehicle segments.
