Kwality Pharmaceuticals has acquired 4 acres of land adjacent to its existing Amritsar facility for a new automated manufacturing plant. The planned unit will have 4 injectable lines and 6+ lines for tablets, capsules, ophthalmic and oral solid dosages, designed to EU GMP standards including Annex 1. The expansion aims to meet growing product demand and create room for future launches and bioequivalence-led opportunities. Project completion is targeted for Q4 FY2028, with full operations expected by Q2 FY2029.
Capacity boost for future growth, but full operations only by Q2 FY2029 means limited near-term financial impact.
