On the reaction day the stock moved 0.4 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.5 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
L&T's Buildings & Factories (B&F) business has secured multiple orders classified as 'Large' (₹2,500–5,000 Cr per L&T's internal scale). Two orders came from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for Amaravati: construction of the integrated state secretariat and Heads-of-Department offices (two towers of basement + ground + 39 floors), and 21 residential towers with full finishes, MEP, and landscaping scope. A separate order from a reputed private developer covers luxury residential towers in Mumbai rising up to 200 metres (1B+1G+5P+59 floors configuration). Internationally, L&T Oman's B&F division bagged a repeat order from a prestigious client to build three premium office towers (G+8) above a shared two-level basement in Muscat.
Positive for the stock — these wins add to L&T's already strong order book, reinforce revenue visibility for the B&F vertical, and show healthy diversification across government, private domestic, and overseas clients. The repeat Oman order also signals trust from international clients.
