On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts more than Nifty 100 and 1.3 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
L&T equity shareholders approved the Scheme of Arrangement to transfer its Realty Undertaking to wholly-owned subsidiary L&T Realty Properties Limited (LTRPL) via slump sale at 6,300 Crs enterprise value. 99.07% of votes polled were in favour. No dilution of L&T shareholding as LTRPL remains wholly-owned. Approved at NCLT convened meeting on August 4, 2026. Realty business had pre-sales of about 10,000 Crs in FY26.
Realty business moves to a focused subsidiary platform; no change in L&T shareholder ownership. Awaiting final NCLT sanction.
