L&T's Public Spaces, Airports & Health vertical received a Limited Notice to Proceed from the PPP consortium building the new Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan. The Ultra-mega classified EPC contract (over Rs 15,000 crore) covers the passenger terminal and landside infrastructure for a greenfield airport designed for around 17 million passengers per year. Initial engineering, design, planning and procurement activities have begun. Full construction will start once the formal Notice to Proceed is issued after contractual conditions are met.
