On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.1 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore has secured a large order from ONGC valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore. The scope covers engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of three new well-head platforms, one riser platform, subsea pipelines, cables, and brownfield modifications for ONGC's Ratna-I and NLM-14 fields off India's west coast. The project aims to enhance production from established offshore assets.
Positive for L&T's order book; strengthens the offshore hydrocarbon segment and reinforces ties with government PSU ONGC.
