On the reaction day the stock moved 0.2 pts less than Nifty 100 and 1.1 pts less than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
L&T's Transportation Infrastructure business secured two major design-and-build orders for Dhaka Metro Line 1 in Bangladesh. CP09 covers track and electrical systems with Sumitomo Corporation; CP10 covers signalling, telecommunications and platform screen doors. The 31 km project has 19 stations and is funded by JICA. The win is classified as Major, worth ₹5,000 crore to ₹10,000 crore.
The repeat overseas win supports L&T's order book and international credentials, although contract margins and revenue timing were not disclosed.
