On the reaction day the stock moved 0.6 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.3 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
L&T's Transportation Infrastructure unit has won two contracts from Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority for the Latifa Bint Hamdan Corridor. One is classified as large (Rs 2,500 to 5,000 crore), the other significant (Rs 1,000 to 2,500 crore). Scope includes roads, bridges, tunnels, an interchange, and a cycling track, with completion targeted by end-2028. The 12 km corridor will connect key Dubai roads, handle around 16,000 vehicles per hour, and cut travel time from 33 to 15 minutes.
Positive for revenue visibility and international order book, though deal values are within L&T's typical range.
