On the reaction day the stock moved 5.5 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 5.8 pts more than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Laurus Labs informed exchanges that NCLT has directed petitioner companies to serve hearing notice in Form CAA-3 to regulators for the composite scheme of arrangement. The scheme involves demerger of Unit-1 of wholly-owned subsidiary Laurus Synthesis into another wholly-owned subsidiary Sriam Labs, and amalgamation of the remaining LSPL with Laurus Labs. Next hearing is September 10, 2026. Since all entities are wholly-owned, this is internal restructuring.
Internal restructuring between wholly-owned subsidiaries; no immediate impact on minority shareholders. NCLT progress is a procedural positive.
