On the reaction day the stock moved 2.9 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.8 pts more than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Leading Leasing Finance and Investment Company announced a significant board overhaul at its meeting on February 12, 2026. Chairman Mr. Parshottambhai Rupareliya and Managing Director Mr. Kurjibhai Rupareliya both resigned citing age and health-related issues, with effect from the same day. To fill the vacuum, the board appointed Mr. Ketankumar Shivabhai Gosai (a Commerce graduate with 16+ years of NBFC and banking experience) as both Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for a five-year term. Ms. Prity Bishwakarma (Company Secretary with 6+ years in compliance) joined as Non-Executive Independent Director for five years, and Mr. Deepak Sundarji Saushi (MBA, 10+ years in NBFC/banking) was appointed as Non-Executive Director. Board committees have also been reconstituted.
This is a near-complete leadership transition at a small NBFC — both top executives and the Chairman exited simultaneously due to health reasons, with no disclosed negative reasons. While the resignations are orderly and the new MD/CFO brings relevant NBFC and banking experience, the scale of change at once may create short-term governance uncertainty for shareholders until the new team settles in.
