LGT Business Connextions Ltd has announced that its board approved the acquisition of majority shareholding in two travel companies. The first is Holiday One Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based premium holiday travel company with FY24-25 total income of Rs. 4.13 crore, for a cash consideration not exceeding Rs. 50 lakhs. The second is Travflix Tours Private Limited, a Mumbai-based travel firm focused on trade fairs, MICE and holiday travel, incorporated in March 2025 with revenue of around Rs. 60 lakhs till October 2025, for a cash consideration not exceeding Rs. 15 lakhs. Both acquisitions are in the same line of business as LGT (tours and travel) and are not related party transactions. No government or regulatory approvals are required for either deal, and the consideration will be based on an independent valuation.
This is a small-scale bolt-on expansion by LGT into adjacent travel niches (luxury holidays and corporate/MICE travel). The combined deal size of up to Rs. 65 lakhs is tiny relative to typical listed-company acquisitions, so direct financial impact on shareholders is likely limited, though it signals the company's intent to consolidate within the travel sector.
