LIC Housing Finance reported its Q1 FY26 results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Standalone total revenue from operations rose to ₹7,233.13 crore from ₹6,783.67 crore in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 6.6%. Profit after tax increased to ₹1,359.92 crore from ₹1,300.21 crore (~4.6% growth), with EPS at ₹24.72 versus ₹23.64. Asset quality improved, with GNPA falling to 2.62% (from 3.29%) and NNPA to 1.30% (from 1.68%), while the debt-equity ratio eased to 7.71 from 8.45. The board also approved shifting of the registered office to Cuffe Parade, set August 22, 2025 as the record date for the FY25 final dividend, scheduled the 36th AGM for August 29, 2025, and constituted a Review Committee to identify wilful defaulters as per RBI norms. The joint statutory auditors (SGCO & Co. LLP and Khandelwal Jain & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Steady, modest growth in earnings with clear improvement in asset quality and leverage should be viewed positively by shareholders, though the ~6-7% top-line growth is below the 20% threshold often associated with strong momentum. The dividend record date and AGM scheduling confirm an upcoming income event for eligible shareholders.
