Techno Industries Private Limited, an 88% subsidiary of Lloyds Engineering Works, has signed an agreement with Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited on August 1, 2025. The deal involves designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining escalators at multiple Central Railway locations. The agreement is valued at Rs. 19.58 crore (excluding GST), or Rs. 23.11 crore inclusive of 18% GST. The work must be completed within 24 months from the date the notice to proceed is issued. There is no impact on the management or control of the listed company.
This is a new order from a government railway entity, which adds to the order book of the company's subsidiary. The size (around Rs. 19-23 crore) is modest, and execution over 24 months means revenue will be recognised gradually. For shareholders, it signals continued business activity in the railway infrastructure space, though the deal is not large enough to materially shift the company's overall outlook on its own.
