On the reaction day the stock moved 11.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 11.9 pts less than its Commodity Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Board approved a 100 tonne per day expansion of Alwar caustic soda capacity from 300 to 400 tonnes per day, costing about Rs 60 crore and due by the third quarter of fiscal 2026-27. It also approved a new 100 tonne per day sulphuric acid plant for India, planned for fiscal 2027-28, and a 21 MW DC solar expansion at Bikaner costing about Rs 65 crore and due by May 2026. Internal savings and bank finance will fund the two costed projects.
More capacity may lift output and cut power costs, but at least Rs 125 crore of spending adds funding and execution risk for shareholders.
