Lords Chloro Alkali has commissioned a 14.5 MW (AC) captive solar power plant with a 1.672 MWh battery energy storage system at Lunkaransar, District Bikaner, Rajasthan on September 2, 2026, after grid synchronisation and regulatory certification. The plant is for captive consumption and is expected to raise the share of renewable energy in the company's consumption to around 40%, cut dependence on expensive grid power, and improve long-term energy cost efficiency. With this addition, the company's total installed captive and group captive renewable energy capacity has increased to 47 MW (DC).
