Lux Industries Limited reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY2026. Standalone revenue from operations grew to Rs. 2,923.55 crores (up from Rs. 2,565.69 crores), but net profit declined significantly to Rs. 101.45 crores compared to Rs. 166.09 crores in the previous year. Consolidated net profit was Rs. 106.07 crores versus Rs. 164.54 crores last year. The company recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per share (100%), with promoters waiving their right to receive it. Exceptional items included Rs. 2.76 crores for new labour code implementation and Rs. 3.35 crores from entry tax dispute settlement. A family settlement agreement was approved in-principle for a proposed demerger scheme splitting business verticals into separate wholly-owned subsidiaries. Internal auditors EY and Deloitte were re-appointed for the next term.
Despite revenue growth, profit declined substantially year-on-year, which may concern investors. The promoter dividend waiver and proposed demerger signal potential restructuring activity within the promoter family.
