M.V.K. Agro Food has completed its cane crushing capacity expansion from 2,500 TCD to 4,000 TCD, a 60 percent increase over prior levels. The new plant will be inaugurated on October 15, 2026 at the sugar factory in Nanded, Maharashtra, by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, with several senior state ministers also present. The expansion had received prior Central Government approval and follows earlier intimations from June 2025 and January 2026.
Positive for shareholders: capacity rises 60 percent, which could lift future revenue and earnings once full-scale crushing is operational.
