Magadh Sugar & Energy's board met on May 13, 2025 and approved audited FY25 results. Total revenue from operations rose about 20.6% to Rs. 1,32,228.50 lakhs (vs Rs. 1,09,658.03 lakhs last year), but net profit fell slightly to Rs. 10,944.61 lakhs (vs Rs. 11,640.96 lakhs). Q4 was strong, with revenue up ~23% to Rs. 35,520.75 lakhs and net profit up ~52% to Rs. 7,150.55 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 12.50 (125%) per share, subject to shareholder approval. New auditors were appointed: Vinod Kothari & Co. as Secretarial Auditors for 5 years, Singhi & Co. as Internal Auditors, and D Radhakrishnan & Co. as Cost Auditor for FY26.
Wholetime Director and KMP Mr. Chandra Mohan resigned citing personal reasons, effective May 14, 2025, with insider Mr. Pankaj Singh (currently COO) replacing him. The dividend announcement and strong Q4 numbers are positive for shareholders, while the management transition is a key change to watch.
