Mahickra Chemicals' Board approved acquiring 2,65,898 equity shares (51%) of Vida Wellness Private Limited for ₹53.18 lakh at ₹20 per share through a rights issue. Deal to close in 60 days. Vida Wellness is in hygiene, cosmetics and personal care products, with declining turnover of ₹388.10 lakh in FY25 (from ₹777.64 lakh in FY23). Not a related party deal, no regulatory approvals needed. Aim is to diversify into wellness and personal care products.
Positive diversification into wellness segment. Target's revenue is declining, which is a concern. Becomes a subsidiary at 51% stake.
