Maithan Alloys bought 2,34,000 shares (0.05 percent) of Sterlite Technologies on 21 Oct 2026 for Rs 20.08 Crore in cash through the stock exchange. Sterlite makes telecom equipment and had FY26 turnover of Rs 2,446 Crore. Maithan says it is a long or short term investment with no intention to seek control. Disclosure was filed under SEBI Reg 30 after crossing the threshold limit.
Small treasury investment, no control sought. Shows cash deployment by Maithan; minimal impact on Sterlite given the tiny stake size.
