Wholly owned subsidiary Impex Metal and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMPEX), which had fully shut down production in April 2023, switched on one of its two furnaces on 11 November 2025. Commercial production is expected later this month, with the second furnace due in 5 to 7 days. A pending merger of IMPEX into Maithan Alloys awaits NCLT approval.
