Manaksia Coated Metals is upgrading its Continuous Galvanizing Line from galvanised to Aluminium-Zinc coating technology. Capacity will rise from 132,000 MT to 180,000 MT per annum, a 36% increase. The shutdown began in December 2025 and Alu-Zinc production is expected to stabilize from January 2026. The company expects improved productivity, lower coating cost, better margins, and higher EBITDA. In H1 FY26, it reported Total Income of Rs. 477.62 Cr, EBITDA of Rs. 58.07 Cr and Net Profit of Rs. 27.97 Cr.
Positive - capacity expansion and shift to higher-value Alu-Zinc coated steel expected to improve margins, with some short-term output disruption during transition.
