Manaksia Steels reported strong Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations rising 28.6% year-on-year to Rs. 200.98 crore (from Rs. 156.31 crore in Q1 FY25), while profit after tax jumped 173% to Rs. 6.35 crore (from Rs. 2.33 crore). Consolidated revenue grew 31.7% to Rs. 217.49 crore and consolidated PAT nearly quadrupled to Rs. 6.49 crore, with EBITDA margins expanding sharply from about 4% to over 6%. The board approved a major capacity expansion at its Haldia unit, adding a second Colour Coating Line of 90,000 MT per annum, nearly tripling existing capacity to 1,38,000 MT per annum at an investment of around Rs. 40 crore funded entirely from internal accruals, targeted for Q4 FY26. Other board decisions included the 24th AGM on 23 September 2025, re-appointment of Independent Director Mrs. Nidhi Baheti for five years, appointment of MKB & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for FY26–FY30, and adoption of a new company logo.
Strong Q1 earnings, a tripling of colour coating capacity fully funded internally, and rising margins point to a meaningful growth phase for the company; shareholders should see this as a positive for both near-term earnings momentum and long-term expansion, though successful execution of the Rs. 40 crore Haldia expansion by Q4 FY26 will be the key thing to watch.
