Manali Petrochemicals has received the Consent to Operate (CTO) from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board for its expanded Propylene Glycol (PG) facility at Plant II in Manali, Chennai. The approval is granted under the Air and Water Pollution Control Acts and is valid until 31st March 2030. With this clearance, the company is now permitted to commence manufacturing of the specified products at the expanded capacity. This follows earlier communications about the expansion project dating back to 2020.
This is a positive development for shareholders as the company can now begin commercial production at its expanded PG facility, which should support future revenue and volume growth. The long validity period (until 2030) provides operational visibility and removes a key regulatory hurdle.
