On the reaction day the stock moved 1.7 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.4 pts less than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
RBI approved the proposed board appointments of Rishi Mandawat and Ashish Kotecha as non-executive, non-independent directors nominated by BC Asia investors. The issue includes 92,901,373 shares at Rs 236 each to BC Asia Investments XXV plus 92,901,373 warrants for BC Asia Investments XIV, each valued at Rs 2,192.47 crore. The investors and existing promoters would jointly control the company. Closing and the open offer need approvals.
Planned share issuance could alter voting control and dilute holders. Completion is conditional, leaving near-term stock impact uncertain.
