Manba Finance, an NBFC, reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results, showing strong YoY growth. Total revenue from operations rose about 37% to ₹6,700.37 lakhs from ₹4,900.81 lakhs a year ago. Profit after tax jumped roughly 88% YoY to ₹975.08 lakhs (from ₹517.80 lakhs), and EPS doubled to ₹1.94. Net profit margin expanded to 17.65% from 13.33%. Asset quality improved slightly with Gross Stage 3 assets at 3.84% vs 3.90%, and CRAR strengthened to 28.21% from 24.05%. Debt-equity ratio improved to 2.90x from 3.76x. The board also confirmed maintenance of security cover on listed NCDs and that issue proceeds have been used as per stated objects with no deviation.
Strong revenue and profit growth, improving margins and better capital adequacy are positive for shareholders. The clean auditor review and compliance with NCD covenants add confidence, though the stock may already reflect part of the optimism.
