Manba Finance, an NBFC that listed on NSE/BSE in September 2024, announced its FY25 audited results alongside a final dividend of Rs. 0.25 per share (2.5% on face value of Rs. 10), subject to shareholder approval. Total income for FY25 grew to Rs. 191.6 crore from Rs. 150.4 crore, and profit after tax rose sharply to Rs. 37.8 crore from Rs. 24.4 crore, supported by a stronger loan book of Rs. 1,146 crore and net worth nearly doubling to Rs. 369 crore post-IPO. Asset quality improved with Gross Stage 3 ratio falling to 3.70% and CRAR strengthening to 30.09%. The board also confirmed the security cover and use of NCD issue proceeds with no deviations, and auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong full-year earnings growth and improved capital position are positive for shareholders, though the small final dividend (Rs. 0.25/share) is a modest reward. The Q4 profit dip versus last year may temper near-term sentiment, while the higher CRAR and stable asset quality offer comfort.
